We're seeking an Innovation Manager for a global transportation company.
The position aim to continue and expand the group’s local and global innovation activities
Description:
Crafting and implementing an overarching innovation strategy for the group, focusing on continuous growth and technological advancement of our services.
Hands-on management of Pilot projects - from initiation to execution and measurement, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Evaluating new technologies in the transportation industry, and making the right fit for the groups’ business and operational needs
Maintaining strong relationships with internal business owners and key stakeholders across the company, identifying unmet needs.
Engage with startups, government and academic institutions to foster partnerships and participate in innovative projects.
Working closely with the Business Development department as well as with the IT and operational excellence teams (analysts, data scientists, developers and engineers) to test and implement innovative solutions
Lead various activities designed to foster a culture of innovation across the group, including but not restricted to – innovation sessions, intrapreneurship training, hackathons and more.
Reporting To: The VP CIO and Technologies.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in innovation management.
4+ years of experience in driving projects of technological innovation in large organizations.
Experience in setting up innovation departments - an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Comprehensive understanding of the global and local transportation technology and startup ecosystem.
High ability to think strategically and creatively to meet business objectives.
Exceptional ability to build relationships and foster collaboration.
