Manager of an R&D group in the defense sector.
The role includes leading a development team, designing systems, setting standards for quality and delivery,
and participating in all stages of product development including military experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage software development lifecycle
Plan and lead feature development
Lead architecture discussions and technological roadmap
Build a culture of engineering excellence
Provide professional guidance to the team
Coordinate with commercial and deployment teams
Represent technological capabilities internally and externally
Requirements:
4+ years' experience in R&D management roles
Experience managing a team of 25+ people
6+ years of software development experience in .NET C#
3+ years' experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
Experience with PMO, Agile, and CI/CD
Strong design, architecture, and problem-solving skills
Experience in frontend development (Angular, React, Vue)
Ability to build long-term plans
Understanding of budgets and business planning
Ability to work with multiple interfaces in the organization
Strong customer-facing abilities
Presentation design skills (Hebrew & English)
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
Excellent communication
High motivation, leading by example
