Senior Cyber Analyst Tier 3
Job Description
1. Identify, analyze, and handle complex cyber incidents, including escalations from Tier 2 analysts.
2. Detect suspected advanced threats through analysis of alerts from SIEM systems, advanced security systems, and intelligence sources.
3. Develop and maintain monitoring systems and tools dedicated to the SOC.
4. Create new controls and work processes for threat detection, including developing automations and integrating cyber intelligence.
5. Train and professionally develop Tier 2 analysts and external SOC, while improving investigation methodologies and adapting them to new attack methods.
Job Requirements:
* At least two years of experience as a Tier 2 cyber analyst in a SOC.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in identifying and handling cyber incidents.
* High technical proficiency in script writing and process development in PowerShell and/or Python - mandatory.
* Proven experience working with SIEM systems (such as QRadar or ArcSight) and SOAR systems.
* In-depth understanding of SOC work processes and investigation methodologies.
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
* Thorough familiarity with a range of information security products, including Firewall, EDR,
